Bitcoin (BTC) Super Bullish, In Use ... - Ethereum World News

The next XVG? Microcap 100x potential actually supported by fundamentals!

What’s up team? I have a hot one for you. XVG returned 12 million percent in 2017 and this one reminds me a lot of it. Here’s why:
Mimblewimble is like Blu-Ray compared to CD-ROM in terms of its ability to compress data on a blockchain. The current BTC chain is 277gb and its capacity is limited because every time you spend a coin, each node needs to validate its history back to when it was mined (this is how double spending is prevented). Mimblewimble is different - all transactions in a block are aggregated and netted out in one giant CoinJoin, and only the current spending needs to be verified. This means that dramatically more transactions can fit into a smaller space, increasing throughput and lowering fees while still retaining the full proof of work game theory of Bitcoin. These blockchains are small enough to run a full node on a cheap smartphone, which enhances the decentralization and censorship resistance of the network.
The biggest benefit, though, is that all transactions are private - the blockchain doesn’t reveal amounts or addresses except to the actual wallet owner. Unlike earlier decoy-based approaches that bloat the chain and can still be data mined (XMR), Mimblewimble leaves no trace in the blockchain, instead storing only the present state of coin ownership.
The first two Mimblewimble coins, Grin and Beam, launched to great fanfare in 2019, quickly reaching over $100m in market cap (since settled down to $22m and $26m respectively). They are good projects but grin has infinite supply and huge never-decreasing emission, and Beam is a corporate moneygrab whose founding investors are counting on you buying for their ROI.
ZEC is valued at $568m today, despite the facts that only 1% of transactions are actually shielded, it has a trusted setup, and generating a confidential transaction takes ~60 seconds on a powerful PC. XMR is a great project but it’s valued at $1.2b (so no 100x) and it uses CryptoNote, which is 2014 tech that relies on a decoy-based approach that could be vulnerable to more powerful computers in the future. Mimblewimble is just a better way to approach privacy because there is simply no data recorded in the blockchain for companies to surveil.
Privacy is not just for darknet markets, porn, money launderers and terrorists. In many countries it’s dangerous to be wealthy, and there are all kinds of problems with having your spending data be out there publicly and permanently for all to see. Namely, companies like Amazon are patenting approaches to identify people with their crypto addresses, “for law enforcement” but also so that, just like credit cards, your spending data can be used to target ads. (A) Coinbase is selling user data to the DEA, IRS, FBI, Secret Service, and who knows who else? (B) What about insurance companies raising your premiums or canceling your policy because they see you buying (legal) cannabis? If your business operates using transparent cryptocurrency, competitors can data mine your customer and supply chain data, and employees can see how much everyone else gets paid. I could go on, but the idea of “I have nothing to hide, so what do I care about privacy?” will increasingly ring hollow as people realize that this money printing will have to be paid by massive tax increases AND that those taxes will be directly debited from their “Central Bank Digital Currency” wallets.
100% privacy for all transactions also eliminates one HUGE problem that people aren’t aware of yet, but they will be: fungibility. Fungibility means that each coin is indistinguishable from any other, just like paper cash. Why is this important? Because of the ever-expanding reach of AML/KYC/KYT (Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer / Know Your Transaction) as regulators cramp down on crypto and banks take over, increasingly coins become “tainted” in various ways. For example, if you withdraw coins to a mixing service like Wasabi or Samourai, you may find your account blocked. (C) The next obvious step is that if you receive coins that these chainalysis services don’t like for whatever reason, you will be completely innocent yet forced to prove that you didn’t know that the coins you bought were up to no good in a past life. 3 days ago, $100k of USDC was frozen. (D) Even smaller coins like LTC now have this problem, because “Chinese Drug Kingpins” used them. (E) I believe that censorable money that can be blocked/frozen isn’t really “your money”.
Epic Cash is a 100% volunteer community project (like XVG and XMR) that had a fair launch in September last year with no ICO and no premine. There are very few projects like this, and it’s a key ingredient in Verge’s success (still at $110m market cap today despite being down 97% since the bubble peak) and why it’s still around. It has a small but super passionate community of “Freemen” who are united by a belief in the sound money economics of Bitcoin Standard emission (21m supply limit and ever-decreasing inflation) and the importance of privacy.
I am super bullish on this coin for the following reasons:
Because it doesn’t have a huge marketing budget in a sea of VC-funded shitcoins, it is as-yet undiscovered, which is why it’s so cheap. There are only 4 Mimblewimble-based currencies on the market: MWC at $162m, BEAM at $26m, GRIN at $22m, and EPIC at $0.4m. This is not financial advice and as always, do your own research, but I’ve been buying this gem for months and will continue to.
This one ticks all the boxes for me, the only real problem is that it’s hard to buy much without causing a huge green candle. Alt season is coming, and coins like this are how your neighbor Chad got his Lambo back in 2017. For 2021, McLaren is a better choice and be sure to pay cash so that it doesn’t get repossessed like Chad!

Madbyte News - October 1, 2020

What was Bitcoin's value over the last several years on October 1st? In 2012 it was super low at $11 USD, with the first halving only 2 months away. In 2013 it was at $127 and the Cyprus banking crisis hit the financial markets. Also, during 2013 was the first time Bitcoin passed the price of gold for a brief moment.
In 2014 it was valued at $387. By the end of the year it was given the title by The Guardian as the worst investment of the year. Mt.Gox exchange had failed and Ethereum did its ICO (Initial Coin Offering) and the silk road website was taken down. Tim Draper bought a good chunk of Bitcoins at auction and was predicting it to go to $10,000.
In 2015 it was lower at $238 but in 2016 the price was at $614 with the second halving having happened. During 2017 it reached a lofty $4404. 2017 also was when ICOs became popular with a few blockchain projects raising over $200 million. In 2018 Bitcoin was at $6601 and the ICO frenzy died. During 2019 it was $8334 and some exchanges continued to get hacked. Bakt opens futures trading and bitcoiners are talking about the third halving in 2020. And so today bitcoin is valued at about $10,600.
Most of those years saw massive changes up and down in value. For example, in 2013, there was a massive rise of 10,250% from $12 to $961 but in 2014 it dropped 52%. If you look at Bitcoin valuations from the October 1st lens it seems like a great time to buy especially after a halving.
We continue to see Bitcoin as the number one crypto for a portfolio even though almost every week we see another new cryptocurrency pop up. Some of them even hit the top 10 on Coinmarketcap very quickly. For example, UNI (Uniswap) is up over 2700% on Binance since it was listed on Sept.17, 2020. But history shows that most altcoins over the long term are not very successful.
Be careful of FOMO but happy investing, From the Madbyte Team.
-- In summary, Bitcoin, on October 1st was: 2020 - $10600 2019 - $8334 2018 - $6601 2017 - $4404 2016 - $614 2015 - $238 2014 - $387 2013 - $127 2012 - $11

Nhom VBC CHROMIA AMA TRANSCRIPT (15/05/2020)

Thai Nhat Minh | Stably:
First of all, can you have a brief introduction about yourself as well as about Chromia? Henrik_hjelte, Sergelubkin
Henrik Hjelte:
Hello. My name is Henrik Hjelte. I am Co-Founder and CEO of Chromia.
I have more than 30 years of experience in programming and a degree in Economics from Uppsala University.
BTW economics and computers = blockchain, so finally found a job that fits me.
I was introduced to the blockchain by the leader of the colored-coins project Alex Mizrahi in 2013
Colored coins project was a very influential thing
It was the first way for user created tokens
bolted on to the only blockchain at the time (almost) bitcoin
We started ChromaWay 2014, with Or Perelman too, to explore if the world was interested in “tokens” and those kind of applications
We worked with enterprise blockchain for some time, but now we are focused on Chromia, a new public platform for mainstream decentralized applications using relational blockchain technology.
Ok, maybe I should tell something about Chromia and not myself too.
Chromia is a better blockchain for building decentralized Apps.
better because it follows the “normal worlds” way of managing data.
A little history: I found a text/description to paste:
Chromia is a brainchild of ChromaWay. ChromaWay has a long record of delivering pioneering projects around the world. We issued Euros on the Bitcoin blockchain with LHV bank, allowed investors to invest in startups in a wholly decentralized way with Funderbeam, digitized the title transfer process with the Swedish land registry, and mediated the green bond market. ChromaWay’s core team created the world’s first protocol to issue tokens already in 2012, when blockchain was called “bitcoin 2.0”. Then ChromaWay introduced the relational model to enterprise blockchains with a consortium database called Postchain. Now Postchain is going public as the foundation for Chromia, a better blockchain for building decentralised Apps.
Chromia is a new public blockchain based on the idea of integrating traditional databases, Relational databases with blockchain security. Chromia is a general purpose blockchain with full smart contract capabilities, just that it is a lot easier to code, even complex applications. You code with an easy to learn new programming language that combines the power of SQL and normal languages but makes it secure in a blockchain context. Up to 1/10 the code-lines vs other blockchains.
If you don’t believe me, check this blog (later, stay in the chat):
https://blog.chromia.com/reasons-for-rell-compactness/
The aim of Chromia is to combine relational databases, which exist in every kind of organization, with blockchains. We want to provide a platform for our users to develop totally decentralized apps securely. Our goal is for Chromia to be seen as the number one infrastructure for decentralized applications.
Think about it: blockchain is about managing data (in a shared context).
And… What do we use to manage data? A Database!
Serge:
Sure! My name is Serge! And I work in Chromia marketing department. Also, I help coordinate various projects inside the company
My background is in Economics and Marketing

Question 1️⃣
DApp is currently mainly concentrated in the field of games, and its life cycle is basically short, just like the Crypto Kitty is only hot for a while, how to dig the application of DApp in more fields and how to improve the utilization rate of DApp? u/henrik_hjelte u/sergelubkin
Serge:
Good one, let me answer
Gaming is quite a challenging target because good UX is expected, it needs to be fast, responsive, etc. If we can do that, then we can also do all sorts of other stuff.
Also, it lets us experiment with things without a lot of hassle, it’s easier to get users, and so on. It’s also a growing niche within blockchain. You can check our latest game, Mines of Dalarnia https://www.minesofdalarnia.com
We also have Enterprise projects already, for example Green Assets Wallet https://greenassetswallet.org/about that already launched on the first Mainnet version called Bootstrap Net,we also have https://capchap.se built on our tech, more projects like non-profit review platform Impactoria, public land registries, medical projects and so on
Also don’t forget about our fully decentralized social network/forum that is live already on the testnet https://testnet.chromunity.com.
Thai Nhat Minh | Stably:
Question 2️⃣
How will dapp face the world change after the epidemic? u/henrik_hjelte u/sergelubkin
Henrik Hjelte:
Nobody can say for sure, but maybe people will tend to be online more than offline, so demand on online products and dapps as well will increase.
I just came in from an internal demo of a secret project we do, and it can be seen as a way to hang out online (a bit cryptic answer)
There are also interesting use cases of dapps in the medical field.
For example, we participated in the world-wide hackathon Hack for Sweden. Where our submission was to create an app on Chromia blockchain that increases the coordination between countries and hospitals especially during the hard time and COVID19.
Chromia wants to help the European Union (and the world, but we saw problems in the EU…) and its citizens to provide transparency over the necessary medical and protective devices and appliances of which we see shortage during this emergency crisis.
You can watch our promo here https://twitter.com/chromaway/status/1247557274337447938?s=20.
For me it was a fun Hackathon too because for once I got the opportunity to code… I told everyone else I will not do any bossing…
We try to continue this path on medical applications a bit.
Thai Nhat Minh | Stably:
Question 3️⃣
DApps are still not directly embedded in mobile phones like Apps at this moment, and DApps have also been flooded with bet content. How can guests increase the use of DApps and lower the threshold for using DApps? u/henrik_hjelte u/sergelubkin
Serge:
The answer is — better User Experience. We believe that in order for a DApp to be usable and become more widely accepted it has to feel like a normal App. A DApp needs to have quick transactions, scale well & shouldn’t require users to pay for each transaction. This is something that is possible now with using Chromia. It’s an extremely exciting time since we are going to see a new generation of DApps.
On top of that, we think that we might have an ace coming up. We have built a game to demonstrate the powers and possibilities of Chromia. A little bit about the game: In Mines of Dalarnia (https://www.minesofdalarnia.com), players get to explore the vast expanses of interplanetary treasure mines. With an innovative Dalarnia Token system, players can purchase virtual mining plots, and put them up for rent into the community, allowing for real-estate tycoons to earn more Tokens. Mining plots can also undergo their own upgrades, making them more lucrative to explore, as well as a hot property for rental by miners. The game takes advantage of these NFT-based tokens to securely track exchanges, and provide a sense of ownership and wealth to players as they grow their mining and resource empire.
Watch our trailer https://youtu.be/bDXKOp1Asqw and sign-up for the TestNet on the website!
Thai Nhat Minh | Stably:
Question 4️⃣
Many practitioners think that the main reason for restricting the development of DApp is “incomplete infrastructure”. How effective is the current “cross-chain” and “side-chain” solution? u/henrik_hjelte u/sergelubkin
Serge:
Our infrastructure resembles Alibaba Cloud, so a DApp developer just goes and deploys his DApp’s blockchain into it, it’s easy. Also our language Rell https://rell.chromia.com/en/maste is more robust than any other blockchain programming language.Or Azure or AWS
Rell combines the following features:
  1. Relational data modeling and queries similar to SQL. People familiar with SQL should feel at home once they learn the new syntax.
  2. Normal programming constructs: variables, loops, functions, collections, etc.
  3. Constructs which specifically target application backends and, in particular, blockchain-style programming including request routing, authorization, etc.
Rell aims to make programming as convenient and simple as possible. It minimizes boilerplate and repetition. At the same time, as a static type system it can detect and prevent many kinds of defects prior to run-time.
Maybe Henrik wants to add something. :)
Henrik Hjelte:
Yes, I can add some thing
Consider again the real /normal world. What made the apps you use every day? Behind the bank app is a relational database. Web 1.0, “shopping on the internet” was a relational database hooked up to a webpage.
web 2.0: Thefacebook was PhP and MySQL hack
again, a relational database.
So, we aim to make it just as easy to do decentralized apps as normal apps.
Also “the cloud” inspiration is more normal. In Chromia, the dapp developer pays for hosting the application (normally). Not the USERS.
No gas, this is a big usability improvement.
Thai Nhat Minh | Stably:
Question 5️⃣
There are many DApp development platforms on the market. What are the competitive advantages of Chromia? It can be explained in terms of development cost and ease of use that everyone is more concerned about. u/henrik_hjelte u/sergelubkin
Henrik Hjelte:
This what I’m talking about. I think “Ease of use” combined with “Power” is our biggest strength.
Easiness is our core feature thanks to the relational database aspect of our system. Relational databases are run by 85% of the enterprise market at the moment.
And used in 100% of all organizations.
The largest vendor on that market Oracle, has a bigger market cap than bitcoin,
So, this makes it easy for enterprises to integrate our tech stack to their normal systems without the need to redo them, like in most cases where blockchain pilots have failed.
That’s partially why we had success with enterprise customer which are live in the Chromia network.
And: there is a large set of features that relational databases have that alternatives (noSQL) do not have or do not do as well.
And blockchain is very primitive compared to that.
Data indepence, mathematical foundations etc. Large books have been written about it…
On Chromiam It’s very easy for developers to deploy DApps because they already know SQL-style programming. Keep in mind that we worked with customers and developers to build our tech stack while solving problems for them. We didn’t build something unneeded, we had proof of validation from the market.
SQL is top 3rd language in the world (after HTML and javascript).
source: stackoverflow survey 2019, among 90 000 developers…
Top 4 used databases: different flavors of SQL (relational databases)
So, they are used for a reason: Ease of use/programming, power etc.
Also, Rell is our language, is statically typed (means bugs are discovered when programs are written rather than we they run). It is also more compact, up to 1/7 of the code lines of SQL. And have “normal” programming constructs + blockchain programming built in.
Because we require both relational database properties and more security than SQL, currently Rell is the only choice. It is really easy to learn, please go check https://rell.chromia.com/en/maste.
Chromia also provides news to the database developer community….
millions of developers in potential.
OK, bear this in mind when you wonder how we can compete with blockchain X… Blockchain X is a fart in the ocean compare to the SQL world 😊
Bach Tuyet
You have organized many AMA sessions to the international community in general and Vietnam in particular. What do you most want to get after AMA sessions from the community? u/henrik_hjelte
Sergey
I’ll take this one:) our goal is to grow the community
  1. We want people to join our channels such as telegram, twitter, email also our decentralized forum https://testnet.chromunity.com and participate in discussions
  2. We want people to try our dapps such as Mines of Dalarnia
  3. We want to get feedback and understand the most important issues people care about Chromia and the blockchain industry in general
  4. We want to get more developers building on top of Chromia
LBTS:
What was your motivation for creating RELL and not use other languages? What benefits? Why name it RELL also?
Henrik Hjelte:
We have a private/federated relational blockchain called Postchain, and it allows SQL. But that can work in a small environment when you know all parties, and if you are really careful in checking code. But not for a more secure, distributed on the web setup, so we had to make it more secure (Deterministic, statically typed).
In the process, we also took the opportunity to make it cool and nice.
Also: it is simply not possibly to use evm, jvm, or web assembly. We need/want a database in the bottom. Postgresql is our virtual machine. You do not reimplement that…. 10+ years codebase….
Lee:
Being part of the gamer community, I would like to know what you would think about collaborating with a MOBA, RPG or Arcade game or some kind of project?
Henrik Hjelte:
We are already collaborating with some smaller studios. For bigger fish, we want to show them what is completely unique and visionary with Chromia, and we think we need various examples. So, first arcade game MoD (linked above) is one example, it is not the full potential or anything but a start. In this summer, krystopia 2 a puzzle game from Antler Interactive will be released.
What is even cooler is the “demo project” we do together with them, where we will show how a mutliplayer game with real blockchain features will work.
I just saw it an hour ago and was blown away
OH, and there is another studio releasing something very cool. Full logic on chain strategy game. Chain of Alliance.
oyibo pepper:
Do you encourage HACKATHON programs for intending Developers to test their skills and build on RELL
Can you explain more about CHROMIA AMBASSADORS PROGRAM, CAN I BECOME AN AMBASSADOR
Serge:
Yes, you can, but you will need to change your avatar 🤣
Seriously, we are growing our Chromians community if you want to become one please ping our admins in Chromia telegram group.
Also, we are planning virtual hackathons soon, please subscribe to stay updated
Infinite Crypto:
Since the Chromia project is currently working on the Ethereum blockchain ERC20 standard!
But we know that there are a lot of scalability issues with Ethereum, so why would you choose the Ethereum blockchain over other scalable blockchains? Do you have any plans for Mainnet launch of Chromia?
Henrik Hjelte:
ETH is just used in a pre-phase for tokens. We will have our own mainnet tokens interchangable with ETH.
Oyinbo pepper
What’s CHROMIA SSO and SDK, how can I get started
Henrik Hjelte
Both are 3 letters. That is what they have in common.
SDK = software development kit, check docs on https://rell.chromia.com
SSO = single sign on. A unique UX improvement. You approve an app in your wallet (vault) with super ease. no need to remember codes
sso: https://blog.chromia.com/chromia-sso-the-whys-and-the-whats/
We have a fundamentally different model from bitcoin and ethereum and the likes. The blockchain is not run by anonymous computers in basement and student dorms across the world. We have more of known identities, so 51% attacks is protected not by PoW/PoS but other consensus. Please see our whitepaper. Note that we are not noobs when it comes to this, our CTO Alex has published papers in academic journals on consensus etc. from 2013, and done several important ideas for blockchain. Sidechains we think he was first with, tokens too.
Sheron Fernando:
Is there any plan to makes partnership with local cryptocurrency developers from each country to make $CHR usage more worldwide?
Serge:
Yes, we are looking for cooperation with more external developers. Send me a message if you are interested in developing something on Chromia.
Stella:
What are the underlying problems in the Dapps today that can be solved with the Chromia protocol?
Serge:
  1. Scalability — on Chromia your dapp can have unlimited numbers of users thanks to parallel scaling
  2. Easiness of use — you don’t need external wallets, no need to buy crypto to pay for gas etc
  3. Cost — in general to deploy the dapp and to use the dapp
Marcel Lagacé:
Why build this platform? What is Chromia mission? What are the most prominent features of the platform? Can you clarify the use case for this feature?
Henrik Hjelte:
We build the platform to fix the problems with blockchains, that we ourselves have experienced since 2014 (before ethereum existed).
LBTS:
Can you tell us about Chromia developers? How motivated and experienced are they to always deliver the best products?
Henrik Hjelte:
I can tell you that we recruit developers that are really good, from all parts of the world. Vietnam has been a hub because we found many good, so in Ukraine.
How can we say “we have so good developers”? First one thing that is a bit different is that we are pretty experienced in leadership team of development. I do not code much anymore since I’m a CEO. But I do have now over 30 years of experience. Got published and was payed when I was 15. First full-time professional developer job at 18. Have released open-source projects used by 10: s of thousand developers.
And Alex, our CTO is Extremely good. That is why I recruited him to my old startup 2006 or so… So: we have experience to sort out good developers from bad.
Marcel Lagacé:
Does Chromia staking model is different from other staking platform??
What are the beneficial advantages of chromia staking system?
Serge:
The main difference is that we have independent Providers, entities that are not connected. These serious players are exchanges, data centres, professional staking companies. They provide a backbone of the ecosystem and host dapps. Like Amazon servers in the cloud. They cannot have stake bigger than the maximum thus they can’t control the network. This is probably the main difference with classic DPoS networks
Nguyen Duy Bao:
A lot of people will want to know what the strength of Chromia is but I want to know the weaknesses and problems Chromia faces ? How do you plan to solve it?
Henrik Hjelte:
A weakness I guess is weak compared to “competition”. And there are some blockchain projects that got crazy amount of funding. So how can we compete with that, when they can hire more developers for example? Well here is what experience comes into play: More developers does not always increase productivity a lot, it is diminishing returns. You can see many large projects, with 100 of developers fail miserably with no results.
And actually, sometimes true with marketing spend too. It is generally good with money, but if you are a bit clever you can compete also on marketing with less money than your competition.

Writing a short early history of ICOs, starting with altcoins - anything important I've missed?

This is for the forever-forthcoming ICO book. But I figured I needed to talk about altcoins first, the previous generation of shitcoins. This is mostly from dredging early altcoin stuff on Bitcointalk.
There needs to be a bit of the end that leads from The DAO as a world-famous ICO to the 2017 crypto bubble, and ICOs booming in that. Is there anything super-relevant I've missed? In the context of ICOs as we now know them, not just altcoins. Ethereum and Ripple probably.
The early history of ICOs
In the beginning was Bitcoin.
That’s the start for every cryptocurrency and blockchain story. Different parts are important to different people — fun and interesting technology, decentralised money, fighting the oppressive statist jackboots of taxation, sticking it to the man.
What ICOs inherit from Bitcoin is the notion of inventing your own magical Internet money — so you can get rich for free. Bitcoin was released in January 2009 as an open protocol, implemented as open source code — anyone could take a copy of it, twiddle it a bit and have a new coin. It took until April 2011 for the first “fork” of the Bitcoin code to come out — Namecoin, an attempt at a decentralised replacement for the Internet’s Domain Name Service (DNS).[1]
It was another four months until someone came up with a general altcoin, usable as a Bitcoin-style payment system — Ixcoin, on 10 August 2011.[2] The creator, “Thomas Nasakioto” — an anagram of "Satoshi Nakamoto"; he used a picture of Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada as his forum avatar — disappeared less than a month later, having scored about 50 bitcoins in the process. “Pretty sure it’s dead,” said one commenter. “It has served his purpose. Many people made quite a few BTC out of it.”[3]
A flood of what were rapidly labeled “altcoins” followed — i0coin, Solidcoin, RRCoin, Tenebrix, Litecoin. The Freenode Internet Relay Chat network started banning cryptocurrency servers that made automated network announcements around this time, rather than deal with what looked “like a botnet using their network.”[4]
The first Initial Coin Offering as we know it is commonly held to be Mastercoin in July 2013.[5] Mastercoin became OmniLayer — the platform for Tether. Mastercoin was the first sale of a token that ran as an application on top of another blockchain — in this case, Bitcoin: “I am VERY excited to announce that I now have a complete specification for building a protocol layer on top of bitcoin (like how HTTP runs on top of TCP/IP).”
Mastercoin didn’t use the phrase “Initial Coin Offering.” The phrase “IPO” — “Initial Public Offering,” in the manner of stock offerings for companies going public — was being used for altcoin offerings by 2014. IronBankCoin used “initial coin offering” and “ICO” by July 2014 — “The initial coin offering will be of 21% of the coin cap during the PoW (Proof of Work) stage” and “Initial Distribution of the Land (ICO info): ICO? Aren't those all scams?”[6]
Mastercoin never really took off as a token platform — that didn’t come until Ethereum made tokens easy to set up in 2015, and The DAO got press worldwide in 2016 by showing just how much money an ICO could pull in. Even as The DAO proceeded to lose $50 million to a hacker five days after launch.

This sentiment seems familiar.

Does anyone remember how 2014 felt in the crypto space? Essentially, we just kept slowly going down for months, just like this - even with good news about adoption and development being released constantly. Everyone, including the bulls from the 2014 run, was saying how "they guess they were wrong about bitcoin". People joking about who could make more money shorting. EVERYONE sold. There were very few holders who actually held straight through the bear market, entirely, without selling anything. After EVERY slight market rise, people kept saying it was going to correct. "It's going back to 200. It's going back to 400. It's never staying above 1000. Etc etc. This went on through 2015. And remember what happened?
We literally just ran out of sellers. Everyone who wanted to sell had done it by then. The only people left in the space were those who cared about crypto and were in this long-term. Everyone left had "hands of steel", hence the HODL sentiment that grew and became super popular (so strong that most people even HODL'd away most of their profits in 2018). The bull sentiment took almost a year to really form itself (2016, with Ethereum proving itself and everyone realizing it's potential).
Last year felt like 2014-2015, in that nearly everyone had that same feelings/thoughts: "wow, I guess I was wrong about crypto's potential." "Real adoption isn't going happen."
This year feels like 2016. Market down 90%, continuous good news, widespread development like never before, and the only people left are the ones who are really into crypto. Feels like we either hit bottom at $3100 BTC/$86 ETH or almost hit it. Yes, I know it will NEVER feel like we hit the bottom. I catch myself thinking that BTC could definitely drop to $1500-$2500, and ETH to $35-$50.
Then I realize how ridiculous that actually is. Nobody even knew what ETH was when it was $42 and BTC was $1500. You could name every crypto ICO that had taken place off the top of your head. There were 100x less businesses and individuals in the space as a whole.
We are setting the stage for the sentiment to change over from bearish to slightly bullish. JPM coin, Samsung users having crypto wallets by default on their phones...this is all setting the scene for ACTUAL, REAL ADOPTION of blockchain. I am not saying we'll necessarily see anything like the 2017 bull market again, but the space has been very exciting recently.
The next crypto run, no matter how big or how small, will be adoption. Your friends will have wallets on their phone by default. Merchants will respond to this by supporting crypto payments in their stores. And perhaps we'll even see some major corporations incorporate crypto payments online this year. STO's could play a big role as well.

Blockchain Predictions in 2020

Blockchain Predictions in 2020
The year of 2019 has been a great year for blockchain development. As we move into the new year, let’s take a look at what are the popular blockchain predictions in 2020.
https://preview.redd.it/oceqmyw0zp941.png?width=650&format=png&auto=webp&s=edca797f125700870c1c5b5ea12047c7d9e3d9d7
  1. The Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) goes mainstream in China first
Since 2014, China’s central bank has been working on a project called “DC/EP”: Digital Currency/Electronic Payments. In the past few months, China’s DCEP had been a hot topic all around the world. Many people assumed that China will start pilots in 2-3 months. At this stage, the release of DCEP is still highly anticipated. In 2020, DCEP may usher in a truly comprehensive landing.
It is reported that China’s central bank has now launched a formal pilot program. The pilot project will go out of the central bank system and be led by the People's Bank of China while the four major state-owned commercial banks and the three major telecom operators will jointly participate in the project. It is said that the pilot project will be launched in Shenzhen and Suzhou. DCEP can not only be used as an inter-bank settlement tool, but also can be applied in various scenarios such as transportation, education, and medical treatment, reaching C-end users and generating frequent applications.
If the pilot had gone successfully, DCEP will expand the landing regions and application scenarios in 2020, thus quickly enter the payment system under the governmental support. The full implementation of DCEP, on the one hand, can be used as a payment and settlement tool which can strengthen the supervision of fund transfers, improve financial stability, and enhance anti-corruption and anti-money laundering capabilities. On the other hand, it can also replace traditional digital currencies such as Bitcoin to a certain extent, reduce the threshold for foreigners to use electronic money in China, and improve the convenience for Chinese consumers when they go abroad.
In addition, from the beginning of its release to widespread use by the public, DCEP will definitely experience a process of popularization and application. Payment technology-related services and manufacturers will gain new development opportunity, such as payment institutions with C-end (personal) payment service experience, companies with a large number of B-end (enterprise) merchant resources, commercial banks, payment system developers, etc..
But there is still reason to believe that a large number of unicorn companies will be emerged in these fields in 2020.
  1. Big breakthroughs will be made in “Blockchain+”
In the year of 2019, we have seen quite a few good blockchain technology landing applications.
Internet giants such as BAT (Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent) have accelerated construction and promotion of the application scenarios of the blockchain and the BAAS platform.
China’s President Xi Jinping has called for the country to accelerate its adoption of blockchain technologies as a core for innovation.
With the gradual maturity of technology and the support of national policies, Blockchain + will accelerate its rapid development in 2020. It will be integrated in all walks of life, and there will be large-scale commercial outbreaks.
  1. The appearance of the Chinese national Digital Currency Exchange
The digital currency exchanges, which have always been on the top of the food chain, didn’t have a good time in 2019. In the second half of 2019, the market for digital currencies continued to be sluggish. Issues such as low transaction volume, frequent security incidents, and tightening regulations once pushed the exchange in the teeth of the storm. Since October 2019, China continued to implement strict regulations on digital currency transactions. Many people started to worry that exchanges will come to an end, just like the P2P online loan platform. But, it is not going to happen. On the contrary, it is likely that digital currency exchanges will thrive in 2020.
As the China’s DCEP carries forward, there is a great possibility that it will be released within 2020. Also, it is said that the ambiguous attitude of China government towards digital currency exchanges is because the government is still in its investigation. National exchanges are in urgent need upon the release of DCEP.
  1. Bitcoin halving may not usher in a bull market
“Halving” has been a hot word in 2019 for cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Many ordinary users and cryptocurrency trading institutions have convinced that the third round of bitcoin halving in 2020 will bring a new bull market since the bear market in 2018.
The first having of Bitcoin came on November 28, 2012. The block reward had dropped from 50 to 25 Bitcoin. In 2013, the price of Bitcoin went from around $20 at the beginning of the year to a peak of $265, with a maximum increase of 1200%.
On July 10, 2016, Bitcoin was halved for the second time. Following the second having, in 2017, Bitcoin increased from $1457 to a historical peak of $20,000.
The third Bitcoin halving will come on May 14, 2020, and the Bitcoin block reward will be halved from 12.5 to 6.25 Bitcoin. The first two Bitcoin halvings have brought the soaring of the price of Bitcoin. Will the bull market come following the third halving? Will the third halving make the price of Bitcoin skyrocket again?
Let us have a look at the first two halvings before we make an conclusion.
In March, 2013, the new Cypriot president announced that the country’s banking system would have to get new funds by seizing a percentage of the accounts of all depositors.
A few days later, Cyprus’ inhabitants went wild and some of them turned to Bitcoin. As a consequence, the digital currency’s value started changing very quickly, rising from $30 to $265 in a few days.
Bitcoin soared to enormous heights in 2017 to over $20,000 for a single digital coin. Most of the people have agreed that the soaring was was linked with the Ethereum token issuance mechanism. Blockchain projects can issue their own tokens based on the Ethereum ERC20 system to raise funds from ordinary public investors.
Since the early ICO investment has achieved good returns. Many investors and their funds entered the market, thus opening the 2017 super bull market.
In summary, every big rise in Bitcoin is not necessarily related to the halving of Bitcoin output. There are related economic and political factors behind its soaring. Therefore, halving the output of Bitcoin in 2020 may not be able to stimulate a new round of bull market.

What Do These 2 Very Obvious Signs Say to You About What's Happening Right Now?

Here we have two very distinct and very obvious signs from the Universe about Donald Trump and what he is and what he's come to do.
http://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-predicted-ingersoll-lockwood-adventures-barron-melania-last-644284
The first sign involves 3 books. 2 are children's books that follow a boy named Baron Trump (Donald Trump had a fake name he use to use for press named John Baron or John Barron. His last child is also named Barron Trump). Baron Trump is very wealthy and lives in Castle Trump. He becomes bored with his luxurious lifestyle and ends up in Russia on an adventure that shapes the rest of his life. He is guided by a "master of all masters" named Don. He's on a quest to find a "world within a world" and the way to find it is told to him in a phrase that he keeps repeating to himself "The people will tell thee" He is repeatedly called "the little Baron". He has a such a great brain that he'll get so focused on things, he wouldn't notice his entire house is up in flames before it would be too late. He's quick to anger and show his power. He claims no Trump has ever surrendered and he never would either! The time of his death is uncertain too.
The last book of the 3 is called "The Last President" From the article:
The story begins with a scene from a panicked New York City in early November, describing a "state of uproar" after the election of an enormously opposed outsider candidate.
"The entire East Side is in a state of uproar," police officers shouted through the streets, warning city folk to stay indoors for the night. "Mobs of vast size are organizing under the lead of anarchists and socialists, and threaten to plunder and despoil the houses of the rich who have wronged and oppressed them for so many years."
"The Fifth Avenue Hotel will be the first to feel the fury of the mob," the novel continues, citing an address in New York City where Trump Tower now stands. "Would the troops be in time to save it?
The Last President doesn’t follow the same fictional narrative of Lockwood’s previous novels, though the links to Trump are once again abundantly clear. The president’s hometown of New York City is fearing the collapse of the republic in this book, also titled 1900, immediately following the transition of presidential power. Some Americans begin forming a resistance, protesting what was seen as a corrupt and unethical election process.
Strangely, he is an outsider candidate said to represent the “common man,” amid claims he will liberate the people from the bankers - an anti-establishment candidate as Mr Trump was billed as being.
With the 2nd sign, here we have a TV show named Trackdown from 1958 that has a man named Walter Trump who promises to save people from the end of the world by building them a wall.
https://411mania.com/movies/the-trump-era-films-trackdown-the-end-of-the-world/
The name of this specific episode is called THE END OF THE WORLD.
There was a fifties Western television series (Trackdown) that had an episode called, “The End of the World.” In this episode, the series’ main character, Hoby Gilman (played by Robert Culp), visits a town that has been left shook.
Why has this town been left in such a state of despair? The end of the world is coming of course.
Why does this town believe this? A man actually named Walter Trump (played by Lawrence Dobkin) rose up out of nowhere and claimed that the world was going to end and that only HE had the power stop it.
The people immediately fall in line and believe every word that he said. The outsider, Hoby, is the only one to call Trump out on his lies. How does Trump respond when Hoby calls him out?
Trump actually threatens to sue him.
The cops of course rally behind Trump. One of them (who is proven to be in on the scheme) asks Hoby rhetorically, “Can you prove he’s wrong?” He then says to Hoby, “It’s a lot safer to go his way than yours.”
Hoby tries his luck with the local judge who meekly stands by and says there is nothing that can be done. He warns Hoby, “Anyone who tries to change their minds might get hurt. They’re not going to believe you.”
The judge uses an apt metaphor though to at least shed some light on the situation.
Judge: "Can you prove that's what he really has in mind?"
Hoby: "It's obvious."
Judge: "But can you prove it?"
Hoby: "What if I take him?"
Judge: "On what charge?"
Hoby: "Fraud"
Judge: "Don't you see, he's not exactly guilty of fraud."
Judge: "I live here, I know these people pretty well. And right now, there's nothing in the world that can change their minds. And anyone who tries to is gonna end up getting hurt. They're not gonna listen."
Hoby: "Well what if he starts a panic, it could happen."
Judge: "Sure, you might as well try to spit out a forest fire."
Hoby: "There's got to be some way to stop him."
Judge: "If there is, I don't know it. It's a funny thing. When we were kids, we were all afraid of the dark. And we grew up, and we weren't afraid anymore but it's funny how a big lie can make us all kids again."
The story does not stop getting weirder from there. Walter Trump actually calls his device (which is simply a parasol) a “Wall” that will protect everyone from the outside danger.
As soon as Trump gets a bit of power, he punished people monetarily for there being a single vocal doubter (Hoby). That frightened people into mob violence. Hoby is attacked for providing any resistance.
When Hoby finally corners Trump, it’s revealed that our snake-oil salesman’s instincts are to buy people off. The idea clearly conveyed is that most people have been content to just sit back and take his payment in exchange for keeping quiet.
Hoby continued to resist though and recognized that proving one lie was not enough. Everything had to be a lie for people to stop believing Trump.
There’s not much in the way of analysis required here. There’s not much in the way of practical advice for people looking to resist Trump. Watching and breaking down this artifact was more just about appreciating the absolute bizarre coincidences. Enjoy?
Some more relevant quotes from the episode:
Walter Trump: "A message I ALONE was able to read in the fires of the universe." (25 secs)
Donald Trump: "I alone can fix it!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGenVcak5nI
Random: "What are you selling Mr, SNAKE oil?" (57 secs)
Narrator: The people were ready to believe. Like sheep they ran to the slaughterhouse. And waiting for them was the High Priest of Fraud.
Walter Trump: "I am the only one. Trust me. I can build a wall around your homes that nothing will penetrate."
Townperson: "What do we do? How can we save ourselves?"
Walter Trump: "You ask how do you BUILD THAT WALL." (9:46)
Hoby: "You're a liar Trump." (11:02)
Walter Trump then starts pointing to the sky and saying "Look there it is!" Then other people start saying they see things too when they really don't. They become under Trump's delusion.
Hoby: "You're seeing what you want to see. There's nothing up there!"
Then Walter Trump, who the narrator calls the High Priest of Fraud, seems to make fire come down from the sky.
Revelations 13:13And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth.
That beast is also known as the False Prophet
Someone threatens to kill the one guy telling them the truth while Trump takes all their money.
Judge: "Trump is sure having his way. When the town doesn't burn down, who's gonna get the credit?"
The one part that totally doesn't jive is they say that Trump doesn't want the credit, he just wants the money. Donald Trump would definitely want both, probably the credit evermore so.
Hoby: "You're under arrest Trump."
"What charge?"
"You write it any way you like. Grand theft, fraud, I think a jury will find it stealing."
"How do you expect to prove it?"
*Cue Trump trying to bribe him*
Sheriff is revealed to be in on it with Trump and accuses him of trying to split with the money.
Walter Trump: "You don't think I'd lie do you?"
Sheriff: "You don't want an answer to that."
He then kills Trump because he doesn't want to get exposed due to Trump's arrest and Trump flipping on him.
Hoby then brings the Sheriff in front of the town to tell them the truth.
Narrator: "They wanted to believe him, but they still weren't over the hump. He had to find one crack in their fear. Until the crowd knew that everything Trump said was a lie, there was no hope for him. The con man would always get the credit for saving the town. As long as the parasols (The Wall) were up, Trump was still believed.
One last odd thing, the first name that pops up during the credits at the end, the first name of the director: Donald
Walter Trump in the TV show also makes reference to technology he has the deflect meteorites from space. With the announcement of the space force from Donald Trump, the prevailing idea is that it will be used to keep asteroids away from Earth.

THE BIBLE CONNECTION

So with all of this laid out, what are these very specific signs telling us? In my opinion, it's telling is that Trump is the Antichrist. That doesn't mean the Bible is 100% true or that things will happen exactly how it says it will happen in the Bible, just that we know the nature of which Trump is and it's not good.
Referring to Trump as "the little Barron" can only mean one thing in my mind. Trump is the little horn from the Book of Daniel. The last king who is not like the others, speaks boastfully and goes to war with the world. The last king of the last kingdom that is made of iron with clay mixed at the feet because it is divided and it has a mixture of people.
Daniel 2
31 “Your Majesty looked, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. 32 The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. 34 While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.
36 “This was the dream, and now we will interpret it to the king. 37 Your Majesty, you are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; 38 in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.
39 “After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours. Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth. 40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. 41 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.
44 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45 This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces.
So that last kingdom sounds a lot like America doesn't it?
Daniel 7
In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as he was lying in bed. He wrotedown the substance of his dream.
2 Daniel said: “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea. 3 Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.
4 “The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted from the ground so that it stood on two feet like a human being, and the mind of a human was given to it.
5 “And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told, ‘Get up and eat your fill of flesh!’
6 “After that, I looked, and there before me was another beast, one that looked like a leopard. And on its back it had four wings like those of a bird. This beast had four heads, and it was given authority to rule.
7 “After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.
8 “While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully.
11 “Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.
“So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things: 17 ‘The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth. 18 But the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever.’
19 “Then I wanted to know the meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and bronze claws—the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. 20 I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell—the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully. 21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.
23 “He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.
The little horn is the last king of the last kingdom. The Last President. Ram horns were turned into trumpets in those days, Trump-Pence.
https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/baron
A baron is a nobleman — a member of the aristocracy. Barons are also important, powerful businessmen with huge influence over their industries. In Britain, a baron is called “Lord,” but in the States, we call them “rich.”
Barons are members of the aristocracy — wealthy people born into power and influence. How high a baron ranks depends on the country, but the title always carries respect. Similarly, a business leader who is rich, powerful, and influential is a baron. The term is used in phrases such as oil baron and baron of industry. You can also call that kind of baron a big businessman, magnate, mogul, top executive, or tycoon.
When the Bible refers to horns on the Beast, it's always a person of power. The little horn speaks boastfully, is not like the others, he's more menacing, goes to war with the world and is the last king of the last kingdom from the book of Daniel. That children's book calls the protagonist the little Baron Trump. Or "the little horn Trump".
The Bible even explains why so many people are completely delusional in their support for Trump, especially Christians.
Matthew 24
23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
Any Christian saying Trump is sent from God hasn't read their Bible. And for this reason, since they refused to love the truth, God sends them a powerful delusion.
2 Thessalonians 2
The Man of Lawlessness
2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Just want to reiterate this specific verse to make the point.
They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Now, where is all of this going? The Bible says he will try to make us all take a mark so that we cannot buy or sell with out it. It will be a number of a man. Well each of us has our own number assigned to us at birth, our Social Security Number. With the recent Equifax hack, Trump's White House has concluded that SSN is out of date and we need to figure out new technology. The prevailing idea so far has been using blockchain, the same tech used for Bitcoin.
http://fortune.com/2018/01/11/blockchain-technology-social-security-number-cybersecurity-identity-theft/
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-10-09/want-to-ditch-social-security-numbers-try-blockchain
http://bitcoinist.com/blockchain-technology-replace-social-security-numbers/
So the problem they are trying to figure out here is where do they store this information on a person? A card can be easily lost or stolen and a phone can be hacked. Well take a look at what this Israeli company has been doing.
This article is from 2014
https://www.coindesk.com/israels-dna-bits-moves-beyond-currency-with-genes-blockchain/
This article is from last month.
https://techstartups.com/2018/05/10/genetic-blockchain-startup-dnatix-releases-first-blockchain-based-open-source-dna-compression-tool/
Their official website
https://www.dnatix.com/
DNAtix has completed the first Proof Of Concept (POC) test by transferring the complete genome sequence of a virus over the Ethereum Blockchain. This test is a key milestone and the company believes that it is the first time that anyone has successfully transferred a DNA sequence over a blockchain.
Now, they say they are doing this for the purpose of sharing genetic information anonymously and maybe they are. But all technology that starts out for good purposes will get subverted for evil if it can be. Imagine from the time you are born, you are genetically tied to a governmental financial system for life. It's the enslavement of the entire human population sourced into our very own DNA.
Now how is Trump or anyone going to convince people to do this? Well it's been pretty obvious the economy we're in right now is about to burst in the next few years at the most. The global financial collapse will be the catalyst to it but something else will happen to. Trump's Space Force isn't just some dumb idea he has. Someone is in his ear, just like with Reagan. 25 scientists mysteriously died working on Reagan's "Star Wars" program. No, there's a reason to be building this. Well take a look at this video from 2001 where a woman warns us about building space weapons and what would happen.

So this is all to bring about the fake alien invasion right? So what happens then and what does this have to do with the mark of the beast? Did you ever wonder what the whole "Drain the Swamp" thing was about? It was to psychologically prepare for the NESARA act, which these supposed benevolent aliens will bring about.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NESARA
Harvey Francis Barnard, a Louisiana graduate in systems philosophy, and an engineering consultant and teacher, created the NESARA proposal during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He printed 1000 copies of his proposal, titled Draining the Swamp: Monetary and Fiscal Policy Reform (1996), and sent copies to members of Congress, believing it would pass quickly on its merits. Based on a theory that debt is the number one economic factor inhibiting the growth of the economy, and compound interest the number one "moral evil" and reason for debt, Barnard made several other attempts during the 1990s to draw political attention to the problems he saw in the US economy, and his suggested economic recovery proposal based on the root causes he determined. After these did not succeed, he decided in 2000 to release the proposal to the public domain and publish it on the internet. Barnard established the NESARA Institute in 2001, and published the 2nd edition of his book in 2005, retitling it Draining the Swamp: The NESARA Story – Monetary and Fiscal Policy Reform.
After Goodwin began commenting on NESARA, other internet-based conspiracy theorists latched onto it. One supporter, Sheldan Nidle, ties the imminent NESARA announcement into his years-old prophecy of an imminent large scale UFO visitation by benevolent aliens (occasionally on his website reports, but more prominently in his videos, seminars and public appearances). Jennifer Lee, who used to publish internet NESARA status reports almost daily on her now defunct site, discussed a host of other-worldly and "interdimensional" beings who are helping behind the scenes to get NESARA announced. Internet evangelist Sherry Shriner, who operates many websites, sees NESARA as linked to malevolent reptiloid aliens she feels have long controlled the U.S. Government.

The Psychology of Trump's Malignant Naricissism

Trump is a malignant narcissist. He is literally a hollow shell that is fueled by narcissistic supply in pursuit of having his grandiose false self reflected back to him. This is why he watches so much tv. Mostly news about himself. The only way he knows he exists is if he sees an image of himself reflected back to him like a mirror. He has to see the image of how he sees himself, his grandiose false self, reflected back to him or he chastises the mirror and tries to smash it. Since that is the case, manipulating him is very easy. Flattery is one way, especially if you are a dictator because that's who Trump respects. He looks up to them like Father figures. He thinks anyone who isn't dictator-like, is weak and stupid. Which is why he doesn't like Canada and Europe and they have become our enemies now while our former enemies have become our allies. All of the elites, the wealthy, the secret societies, the Deep State, they are just pawns that were used to set up all the laws and the globalization of the world. They are also the recognized enemy of the people aware of the NWO plot and they have used their awareness of them against them. Q has people convinced Trump is the great hero taking down the evil deep state. This is just pro wrestling to bring about the next stage of the plan. Hegelian dialectic manipulation of political events. This has all been set up so Trump can take it over in one fell swoop.
Trump has been groomed for this for decades and he was set up to be against Obama. If you look back at his earlier tweets, he actually praises Obama and then someone gave him the information about Obama not being born in America. He first talked about this at a conservative event that he was asked to speak at. After the event, he talked about how amazing the response of the crowd was. The narcissistic supply he got from that, he got addicted to and being the leader of the birthers became his new thing. This set him up to be against Obama and allowed the people who have a pathological hate for Obama (future delusional Trump supporters) to psychologically attach themselves to him long before he ever ran for President. Then they put a pseudo fake Reagan costume on him that checked off every single box of beliefs that a certain type of conservative has (mostly the Fox News watching type). They made him seem like an outsider even though he's been friends with the Clintons for decades, to even further psychologically attach conservatives to him.
Trump is just a slave to his grandiose false self and he has to obtain narcissistic supply to fuel it. If you know how to manipulate that, you can get him to do whatever you want. His supporters are literally what is fueling him. If they stop cheering him and coming to his events, he would literally change all of his beliefs in order to get that back. Why do you think he constantly talks about the size of his crowds and his ratings? Without that reaction, he has no idea who he is, he doesn't even exist.
Trump will undoubtedly incite all of his supporters to violence once his Presidency is legitimately threatened from the Mueller investigation or he might do it if the midterms don't go his way. He'll claim election rigging or something. Conversely, we might see the liberals be the ones who initiate the violence instead due to the media whipping everyone up in a frenzy of outrage which will only boil over and explode at some point. Either way, major conflict in the streets due to the citizens themselves taking action is coming. What happens next will largely depend on how much the military and police support him but with all the immigrants they are keeping in camps, they are doing that on purpose so there is maximum chaos when the shit hits the fan. An extra 100,000 or so non-white people so the racial aspect ramps up the violence. Cue our power grid and internet being cut off and martial law will be implemented for sure. Whoever emerges the leader after the dust has settled from all of this, they will have complete control of America and it will be willingly given to them by the citizens who are left. If it isn't Trump, I'm guessing people will be clamoring for Obama to take a 3rd term. I think Obama and Trump might be 2 sides of the same coin and Obama is being set up as the hero to take down Trump. He is either their backup plan, or he was the plan all along.
At that point, everything associated with Trump will be demonized. Conservatism and the Republican party might as well be dead, Christianity will probably be hated because of all the nut bags that believed Trump was from God. Everyone will willingly give up their guns because the 2nd amendment was the only reason the Trump supporters were able to cause that much chaos to begin with. Plus, the tide was already shifting due to using the kids from the Parkland shooting as anti-gun spokespeople. Trump and his supporters were really the last road block to instigating a far left agenda. Trump might just be a way to get them all to show their faces and then lead them to their deaths. With them out of the way, there's nothing left to stop the leftists and the implementation of socialism. In comes hate speech laws, open borders, facial recognition software for all police, more control over the internet due to the "hack" of our power grid and systems, a larger nanny state due to influx of immigrants leading to the global financial collapse.
But if Trump remains in power, the common Christian belief is that the Antichrist makes a 7 year peace deal with Israel and the rest of the Middle East and in the middle of it, he breaks it and sets himself up in the new temple built in Jerusalem due to Israel becoming a nation again and says he is God. Which was an idea well before Trump ever moved the embassy there and Israel put his image on coins and named places there after him. But in Christianity, the temple is the human body. So Trump doesn't necessarily have to be in some Jewish temple when he calls himself God for this prophecy to come true. Now maybe you think that it would be ridiculous to think Trump would ever call himself God but consider this. Christians all over the country think he was sent from God and a man named Mark Taylor claims that God told him about Trump's presidency in 2011. He speaks at length about it and what he is saying is absolutely terrifying unless you think its the work of a good and righteous God. But the way he is describing Trump's future is EXACTLY like the Bible describes the Antichrist. Succeeding in everything he does, going to war with the world, nothing will harm him. So ok, this is just one possible nutjob. Can't be that big of a deal right? Well now you also have Qanon saying Trump is leading the fight between Biblical good and evil and leading all of these blind followers with a carrot on a stick, while brainwashing the shit out of them, just long enough until the shit hits the fan and they need these people to fight for them.
But back to Mark Taylor and how this will tie into Trump calling himself God. Mark is making a movie called The Trump Prophecy which strongly hints that Trump is sent by God. A movie that will undoubtedly get a lot of buzz when it comes out just because of the sheer craziness of it. Now, tell me if you think this is a movie Trump might be interested in seeing and then tell me whether or not Trump is the type of guy who would let the belief of millions of people that he could be a holy savior go to his head and where that road leads. Think David Koresh or Jim Jones with the largest army ever known to humankind at their backs.
Trump has been talking about this peace deal in the Middle East for decades. Called it his Ultimate Deal.
https://timedotcom.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/donald-trump-william-coupon.jpg?quality=85
William Coupon, portrait photographer, who shot Trump in New York City for Manhattan, inc. in 1983: “I shot Donald Trump twice. This is my favorite. Trump was offering his services as a ‘peace negotiator’ between the Israelis and the Palestinians. We thought: get the bird, which proceeded to leave droppings behind. Trump was amenable enough, but not at all happy. But ultimately, it was that something in his eyes. His eyes. Not the bird’s.”
Next, there is some connections to Acts and Revelations in the Bible regarding this passage.
Acts 2:20
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
Revelations 6:12
And when I saw the Lamb open the sixth seal, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black like sackcloth of goat hair, and the whole moon turned blood red.
Trump was born on June 14th 1946. There was a total lunar eclipse (blood moon) that day and apparently, around the exact same time of his birth, 10:54am over Israel.

http://wwwcdn.printmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Trump-Birth-Certificate-original1.jpg
Then, there was a tetrad, a series of 4 consecutive total lunar eclipses, with a total solar eclipse in the middle of them, which is extremely rare. One on April 15 2014, October 8th 2014, then the solar eclipse on March 20th 2015, followed by 2 more total lunar eclipses on April 4th 2015 and September 28th 2015. Trump announced his candidacy for President on June 16th 2015. Then there was the total solar eclipse that went over the entire United States in rare fashion on August 21st 2017. Then a super blue blood moon happened on January 31st 2018, the night of Trump's first State of the Union speech. All of these rare events happening around Trump seem too coincidental to not be taken as something more in my opinion.

"Bitcoin is not something you build companies on top of. Bitcoin is something you build economies on top of" - Andreas Antonopolous

Transcribed by me from episode #385 of Let's Talk Bitcoin
Tweetstorm of the highlights: https://twitter.com/Sesame4Bitcoins/status/1087970527887667200
On the topic of different blockchains:
Jonathan Mohan: One of my favourite people to talk to about this is Joey from Augur because he tried to build Augur on top of Bitcoin. They [Bitcoin community] made him feel like he was the dick for even asking, that he was wasting their time. It was just a very toxic experience of trying to work with that community those developers who try to build on top of Bitcoin. He would turn to Ethereum and say, “hey, there's this bug I have that Ethereum can't handle,” and then a week later Vitalik would just update the Ethereum protocol.
Andreas Antonopolous: I think that's a perfect demonstration of not just the difference in philosophy but more importantly the difference in application space. The reason Bitcoin is, and has been, and continues to be conservatively developed is because its area of specialization is super robust, super secure, super deterministic, sound money, and operating in highly adversarial environments where you can't expect the goodwill and cooperation of anyone. Not the hardware vendors, not the miners, not world's governments, not institutions, and in that environment it serves some very important needs that don't exist in the world today.
To be truly neutral, truly sound global money, it has to do those things, and that means you can't have the kind of flexibility where one person decides let's add something to the protocol without very carefully thinking about all of the implications that has down the road - Bitcoin has specialized in that domain.
It's why even though I believe we'll have a proliferation of different currencies in the long run, none of those will be able to effectively compete for the one application of super secure robust sound money that survives adversarial environments. And for exactly that reason Ethereum, can't do that, will never do that. In fact, if it tries to do [sound money] it would actually destroy its other benefits (flexibility). Those are two different application spaces and you can't occupy both at the same time.
Sure, some developers are just dicks and that has nothing to do with with the underlying issue but some of that has to do with the fact that Bitcoin has to be more conservative in order to serve that application space. It cannot simply adopt changes without thinking very very far ahead about the implications those changes will have.
Bitcoin is not something you build companies on top of. Bitcoin is something you build economies on top of.
I never saw really Bitcoin as something that you build companies or apps on top of. The broader cryptocurrency space is playing that game out, and ironically, all of those other things/apps fail to work if you shut off the ability for them to have a sound, neutral money that can be exchanged no matter what, anywhere.
Adam B. Levine: So that kind of brings to mind another question, do you have any past strongly held convictions regarding Bitcoin or cryptocurrency where you've changed your mind?
Andreas M. Antonopolous: Back in 2015. I thought that we had to address scaling sooner rather than later, and I made some comments about that. I supported a tweet that Gavin Andresen made at the time about increasing the block size and that was a belief that I held strongly. Over the next year, I took a 180 and went in the exact opposite direction. The reason I made a 180 was really simple: from the very early stages, I believed in this idea that the protocol ossifies over time as it gets embedded in more devices. And once it's ossified, you can't make any changes. So I've always thought we have a narrowing window of things we can change in the core protocol to make improvements, the absolutely necessary improvements, before that window shuts, and then you can't make any changes.
It's like IPV4 - it's in too many devices, you can't even upgrade it anymore. I believe that's happening. When the scaling debates started I thought we had a window of about two to three years. The debate around scaling which turned into a power play demonstrated practically that that window had already closed for many controversial decisions. That we could not reach consensus, and that the power struggle and ability to make money in that power struggle was already trumping engineering. At that point I realized that in fact, that window was much narrower.
Once I realized that, I also understood that there are other more important things that need to be done first: privacy being the most important. And if we have a narrow window, privacy needs to be done in the base layer but scaling can be done in the second layer. Therefore I flipped. I've started believing that privacy was needed first and scalability could wait until later and mostly be done on the second layer quite effectively. I took a lot of flack for that, but it wasn't arbitrary. It was because the facts changed and based on new facts a strongly held opinion was worth nothing because I had to revise my understanding of the space.
Jonathan Mohan: I don't think the enemies of Bitcoin are the Rogers or the Bitcoin Cash guys. I think the real enemies are going to be the exchanges in the listing agents and what they will or will not allow to be called Bitcoin when a consumer presses “buy,” when Bitcoin ultimately does have privacy. There's no such thing as private money and I think that everyone says that. Bitcoin needs to be more like physical dollars, and I think that if you try to sell physical dollars today, you go to jail. I don't know how legal Bitcoin will be once it's made private and further I don't know to what extent any of the people we consider allies like the Coinbases of the world would in any way support a Bitcoin with privacy in it. I actually I think we're past the point of Bitcoin having privacy, and if a Bitcoin were to have privacy that it would be some marginalized fork that no one can get access to.
I think so my fear has always been: make sure you're building SSL not PGP. Cuz almost everyone uses SSL no one uses PGP. I think we're at the point now where the facts as they are, it's that if Bitcoin were to become truly private, it would be basically the PGP of Bitcoin and the one that isn't would be the SSL of Bitcoin.
Andreas Antonopolous: I really like the fact that all of the privacy developments right now, specifically things like taproot and graftroot are actually around obfuscation and plausible deniability to give the exchanges a “see no evil” out of exactly that conundrum. Meaning that if it looks like a payment to a public key and you can no longer tell the difference between that and a Coinjoin, you're done.
Stephanie Murphy: I don't know what the future is gonna look like, and nobody knows. We can speculate and think about it and it's really fun, but at the end of the day, none of us can really even imagine it fully and we're gonna have to wait and see what happens, but that’s part of the excitement. Being aware that you don't know is also exciting because you can just be surprised by what comes out and not try to control everything or plan everything.
Andreas Antonopolous: I'd like to take the opposite perspective, kind of more optimistic. Because what what you say is true and that's definitely happening but the opposite is also happening. Which is when I think that there's an intractable problem or a very hard problem that we seem stuck on, and then suddenly a brilliant solution emerges from nowhere that nobody expected. That was my experience with for example Ethereum. I had not imagined the application of smart contracts in the way Ethereum did it when it came out when I read that first whitepaper by Vitalik in 2014. I had not seen that coming. Mimble Wimble, Lightning Network, the softfork solutions in Segwit. There's all of these technologies and inventions that came out of nowhere, there was nothing really to prepare me for the idea that these were under development or that someone had thought of them, then boom, suddenly they're on the on the radar. So that's also another thing that makes this such an exciting space: can't predict anything other than it won't be boring.

Joey Krug From Pantera Capital on Flexa: "it’s sort of a Trojan Horse"

Link to Podcast, including Transcript from July 23, 2019
Laura Shin:
One of your portfolio companies, Flexa, recently launched an app that enables people to spend crypto at stores like Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom, Jamba Juice, and more, but I feel like back in 2014 and 2015, we learned that people aren’t super psyched about spending their crypto assets on a coffee or a juice that could be worth not just 4 dollars but 400 dollars in a year. So, what’s the appeal of Flexa for you?
Joey Krug:
Yeah, so the idea behind Flexa, you know, my view isn’t really, well, you’re going to go spend your Bitcoin on a coffee at Starbucks. It’s more that it’s sort of a Trojan Horse, almost, right? So, they’re not riding on Visa/MasterCard rails. They’re riding on kind of rewards rails, which are much cheaper and better for the merchant, and so if you look at that, you could have things like, well, you could pay in Dai or you could pay in Libra, and so they’re kind of an infrastructure company that’s basically facilitating this and getting tons of integrations with merchants, but I don’t think, you know, you can pay with Bitcoin and ethereum, but that’s more of a novelty. I think longer-term, the end game would be, you know, they are one of those companies, which is this thing I said that’s very hard to do is, you know, trying to disintermediate Visa/MasterCard, and I think with Flexa, the kind of expected value of it made sense. You know the odds are sort of stacked against them, but I think if there’s a team that can do it, I think it would be these guys.

Story about how I went from having no job, no education and in debt to financially independent in 7 years

In the summer of 2010 I was in my early 20s, took a year off from school and tried working on a business with a friend in the IT field, but the business failed. I was studying Computer Science in college, but was not doing too well. I had my credit cards maxed out at about 20k in debt due to irresponsible spending. I made some money in the past because I worked in the summer in an IT job thanks to a connection, but that opportunity went away. I was living with my parents and wanted ANY job - I was desperate. I tried to get a job at the mall in a clothing store, so I walked around handing out my resume, but failed the interviews. I even interviewed at McDonalds, but they didn't take me. I felt like a loser.

In the fall of 2010 I hit rock bottom and decided to turn things around. I quit smoking and started taking my school seriously, because I realized that it’s my only way out of the mess I was in. I realized that succeeding in business (like Bill Gates) is super hard and started doing pretty well in Computer Science. Later that year I got a job in an electronics store for a few months, at which point I was happy. Later on, I got a part time job in a field related to IT to support myself.

I graduated with debt in 2013 and got an entry level IT job in the city where I grew up, making around 50k a year. I was so happy when I got the offer, but later on I found the job to be boring. My dream was to get into Silicon Valley, so I started learning more about coding and practicing for coding interviews. I was still living with my parents and was slowly paying off my credit cards and student debts.

In early 2014, I interviewed at 2 companies in Silicon Valley and one of them gave me an offer. The salary and stocks offer was much better than I could have dreamed of, including a good signing bonus. That was one of the best days of my life.

I moved and started working. I was saving up most of my money and paying off my debts aggressively. Then, in the winter of 2015, I came across this video on Reddit about Bitcoin. It made an impression on me and I became very curious: what are all those those machines doing? I heard the word Bitcoin before, but had no idea what it was and decided to look into it seriously.

I found a great introduction on Khan Academy (which I already used when I was in school and respected it). I was blown away ... wow that's so clever, I thought. I immediately bought this audiobook, which was recently released at the time and listened to the whole thing in just a few days. I loved the book and learned so much from it: the history of Bitcoin and it discussed things like "why is money valuable at all?".

I was also randomly browsing Wikipedia around this time and came across this page from 2015. I briefly researched the top projects on that page, but what got me interested was item #2: Ethereum. I started researching it on youtube. I found these videos https://youtu.be/l9dpjN3Mwps and https://youtu.be/fbEtivJIfIU and they made SO MUCH sense to me. I also read the white paper like 5 times becoming more and more impressed every time I read it.

I became depressed when I realized that I missed the crowdsale in 2014 and there was no way to invest at that point. I thought that my chance to acquire ETH at a good price was gone forever. I was sure that after it is released the price will be much higher than the crowdsale price of 30 cents per ETH. My thinking at the time was that Ethereum is at least 10 times better than Bitcoin in every possible way and if Bitcoin market cap was a few billion, then ETH should at least match that.

When Ethereum was released in the summer, I started buying it. My debts were paid off by this point thanks to a high salary. The initial price was around $3, but was quickly falling. I was praying that the price falls more and more. The price dropped to below a dollar and I put all of my net worth into it because I thought it was an unbelievable bargain. Every extra penny I had I would put into ETH. I ended up investing around 30k. To me it was so obvious that it is much more valuable than $1 and that people were completely out of their minds for selling it for so low. It felt like people are selling gold bars for a dollar. Bitcoin market cap was a few billion, but Ethereum was something like 50 million AND it is better than Bitcoin in every way by at least 10x I kept telling myself. I remember predicting to people that it will go up 1000x in 10 years. I was talking to some friends about it at the time, but none of them bought as far as I know (until much later).

The price jumped to about $10 in the spring of 2016. I didn’t even think about selling. I held through the DAO hack and DDOS attacks, when the price dropped by more than half. I actually felt that these things are good for the system because it’s antifragile.

In early 2017 the price jumped from $10 to around $30 and I was officially a millionaire. Was I thinking about selling at this point? Hell no, it’s still undervalued! It went to 400, then dropped to 180, slashing my net worth in half and I lost like 10 million on the way down. I still felt it was undervalued at this point. It was kind of crazy: eating lunch with my coworkers, then checking the price and realizing I lost like 1 million in the past hour. And then going to meetings, discussing some bugs or features with my teammates at work.

I did not participate in any ICOs because I felt they were not a good value and if some ICO succeeds, it would be good for Ethereum anyways. I think I’m a pretty unusual crypto investor: I don’t hold any Bitcoins, only ETH and no other tokens. I only used BTC in order to buy ETH in 2015, and converted all of them to ETH ASAP. I remember a friend asking “what is so good about Bitcoin? Is there anything I can buy with Bitcoin, that you can’t with dollars”. I jokingly answered ETH.

I didn’t sell a single ETH until the price hit about $500 in the fall of 2017. At every point before $500, I thought that it was still extremely undervalued. I started selling to diversify. I ended up selling on the way up to $1400 and continued selling until it went down to about $600. I cashed out a few million dollars, about 20% of my holdings. I actually didn't feel great selling, because I still felt that the assets are still more valuable than what I’m getting for them.

After paying taxes, I diversified into stocks and bonds. According to my calculations, I can live comfortably for the rest of my life without working or selling a single ETH again. I quit my job in 2018 and traveled around the world for many months.

I think to myself, did I get lucky? Or am I some kind of investment genius and maybe I should go into angel investing? I looked around for some investment opportunities, but nothing comes close to how I felt about ETH in 2015. Back then it felt to me extremely obvious that this thing is extremely undervalued. I never got that feeling about any other investment since, even though I looked, so I never invested in anything else. I still find it surprising that people were willing to sell ETH for under a dollar just a few years ago.

Censorship ALERT! This viral thread explaining BCH, ETH and Dash's privacy was REMOVED by pro-monero r/dashpay mods! They really DO NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT THIS!

Censorship alert: This thread was originally posted on dashpay. In what appears to be proof that my allegations of manipulation and infiltration by the monero community of the dashpay subreddit were correct, this thread was REMOVED from a dash sub. The question remains why are they censoring this information?
PROOF the thread was removed here: https://np.reddit.com/dashpay/comments/bswfvu/dash_has_already_done_what_bch_and_now_eth_are/
EDIT: Censorship alert - This thread was removed from cryptotechnology. Deleted thread here https://np.reddit.com/CryptoTechnology/comments/bswo2g/dash_has_already_done_what_bch_and_now_eth_are/
Also, the thread no longer shows up on the front page of ethereum; however, it is still visible here: https://np.reddit.com/ethereum/comments/bswfyh/dash_has_already_done_what_bch_and_now_eth_are/
Also, in a surprising and sad turn, the thread was deleted from pivx and I was banned for 2 weeks in an act of censorship. That thread was here: https://np.reddit.com/pivx/comments/bswgio/dash_has_already_done_what_bch_and_now_eth_are/
EDIT 2: As usual this thread is being heavily downvote-brigaded, most likely by the Monero community whose privacy I call out for being exposed as ineffective, especially next to Dash's solid 5-year track record of proven effective privacy with PrivateSend
EDIT 3: Censorship alert, it appears the Monero community has shadow deleted the corresponding thread https://np.reddit.com/Monero/comments/bt275x/eschewing_the_privacy_choices_monero_made_dash/
EDIT 4: I have been permabanned from dashpay because I pointed out the hypocrisy of u/flenst here the moderator basilpop used that as an excuse to gaslight me and permaban me.
I'll still post at dashcrypto and DashUncensored as long as I'm able however. Its amazing you can actually witness the censorship in real time. The monero community must be very desperate to risk such a move as this in broad daylight. Now they have exposed the extent of their control over the moderators here.
This is a VERY BULLISH SIGNAL FOR DASH BTW! It means I was correct in my assessment here months ago. TL;DR of that thread is that the final boss for Dash before we can really break out, is going to be dealing with all the individuals that have undisclosed conflicts of interest in our community. Its nothing to be mad about, all markets start like this with no social regulation of behavior until norms are established. That means that in the future guys like Basilpop will have to go though.

TL;DR As other community thoughtleaders like Jonald_Fyookball, Roger Ver, BCH devs et. al and those like Vitalik Buterin are realizing, Coinjoin is the best privacy method for blockchains. Dash has the best implementation of Coinjoin in PrivateSend with several protocol level-features that means that no other coin including Monero can provide the same level of security, speed, and strength of privacy by anon set size that Dash can. In this viral post I link to prominent thought leader Emin Gün Sirer calling out Monero for its weak privacy and susceptibility to tracing attacks.
Vitalik Buterin Proposes Privacy Solution for Ethereum (ETH) Transactions
First Bitcoin Cash with Cash shuffle and now ETH seek to add optional privacy. There are several important takeaways from this information that have not yet been highlighted.
1 - Dash has basically won the privacy coin wars while being focused on other things. With a simple protocol upgrade dash increased its anon set size more than leading coins ZCash and PIVX with minimal side effects, unlike those chains which had to sacrifice some things like supply audit proof. Monero's privacy has been shown to have always been broken, and recently by a former monero developer it was stated to not work at all:
https://np.reddit.com/dashpay/comments/bindps/when_the_fud_finally_fails_and_the_ugly_hot_girl/em92sbz/
fireice_uk stated in his article, there's really no way to fix it.
I didn't say that. I think it can be fixed, however as is, Monero's (and all other cryptonotes') privacy is not fit for purpose.
The privacy coin wars began in 2014 with the release of Dash and soon subsequent release of Monero. Two years later, PIVX and ZEC family would join the mix. The Monero community being very aggressive, they launched an all-out FUD war on us. They had chosen a different strategy to privacy, one that would lead them to making their blockchain opaque. And now, as the PIVX, Monero, ZCash, ETH and BCH are forced to begrudingly acknowledge, Dash was right and did privacy right all along.
It might sound like bragging but its not: Its important to recognize both what you are doing right so you can do more of it, and also what you're doing wrong so you can avoid it. A lot of our trolls and competition want to concern troll us into only focusing on the things we do wrong, so that we panic and do self-destructive 'corrective' measures.
The best way to prevent that is to have a balanced look at what we're doing both good and bad. And the fact that PIVX and ZCoin had to shut off their privacy, ZCash would've but they fixed and updated the same issue with their sapling upgrade, and Monero has had the same inflation bugs and much, traceability1 2 3 proves that Dash's on-chain, optional obfuscation was the best and strongest of the privacy options.
The researchers also found a second problem in Monero's untraceability system tied to the timing of transactions. In any mix of one real coin and a set of fake coins bundled up in a transaction, the real one is very likely to have been the most recent coin to have moved prior to that transaction.
Before a recent change from Monero's developers, that timing analysis correctly identified the real coin more than 90 percent of the time, virtually nullifying Monero's privacy safeguards. After that change to how Monero chooses its mixins, that trick now can spot the real coin just 45 percent of the time—but still narrows down the real coin to about two possibilities, far fewer than most Monero users would like.
  1. https://www.wired.com/story/monero-privacy/
  2. Tracing Cryptonote ring signatures using external metadata
  3. Newly added - FloodXMR: Low-cost transaction flooding attack with Monero’s bulletproof protocol*
2 - The second big takeaway from this is that Dash was right to incentivize the masternode layer, because of that we can do our privacy the best out of all the coins that are using coinJoin methods, which is the best privacy method! That makes us the best of the best! Now you know why so many people concern troll about 'maybe we should remove privateSend guys'.
In a viral tweet, Vitalik Buterin recently stated in his latest criticism of XMR privacy protocol the following:
Vitalik Buterin Eyes Research on Privacy Coin Monero’s Traceability
Privacy schemes where the anonymity set of a single transaction is smaller than the entire set of users of the scheme are looking weaker and weaker with every passing month...Vitalik Non-giver of Ether

@el33th4xor Interesting attack on Monero traceability. Essentially, the attacker floods the network with his own transactions, and is able to remove them from the mixins later to identify other inputs. Costs only $1.5k for a year long attack. https://twitter.com/MihailoBjelic/status/1126878887886106629

Which shows that I was correct in the thread I linked below: Anonymity set size is the most important metric to measure privacy coins by. Which means all the hemming and hawing from the Monero community, trying to get that thread deleted, having me banned, calling me 'delusional' etc., is because they wanted to hide that information from everyone. Why? Because until Bitcoin Cash came along earlier this year Feb-March with CashShuffle, Monero had the smallest anonymity set of all the privacy coins and they didn't want anyone to know this information!
Indeed, Vitalik explained it exactly the same way I did:
In a follow-up email with CoinDesk, Buterin explained,
“Anonymity set is cryptography speak for ‘set of users that this thing could have come from.’ For example if I sent you 1 ETH and you can’t tell who exactly it was from but you can tell that it came from (myself, Alice, Bob or Charlie), then the anonymity set has size 4. The bigger the anonymity set the more privacy you have.
The main thrust of my thread from more than half a year ago linked below:
So with no further ado, here is your simple guide to evaluating privacy coins! Like daily tx throughput is a key metric of btc/blockchain adoption and usage, privacy coins have their own 'key metric' to determine their ability to hide your tx history: the size of their anonymity set.
This is basically the number of other people with which your transaction is plausibly 'mixed' so at to sever the link between your address and that coin. The greater this number is, the more difficult it is to associate a coin with your address, thus making it more private.
So we have Vitalik Buterin of ETH-fame agreeing with my description of privacy coins on how to make them strongeweaker and what makes them valuable as privacy coins. So how does the super-privacy concerned and anonymity-oriented Monero community react to this information? Not like you'd expect;

This guy should be banned from the sub.
Not only is he posting an unfair, pointless, junk and recycled an article, but is then making claims that his post was "downvote brigaded by XMR maximalists"
This whole post is nothing but a propaganda piece, usually people should be allowed freedom to post their thoughts but this guy is clearly vested with other pecuniary interests and is launching a propaganda campaign and using this sub to fuel his campaign. He is also using the downvote he gets to cash the Monero community in a bad light.
So imo that is clearly against the no manipulation rule. [tta21: Emphasis and italics added]
Wow, but as you can see from Vitalik's post, and from Emin Gur Sirer's post as well, that Monero's weakness is its small anonymity set, and the greater this number is the stronger its privacy. Why therefore are so many member of the Monero community coming out so aggressively against that information (see the thread to read more)?
Before that thread, nobody except Amanda B. Johnson (and I only found out about her videos talking about monero's smaller anon set about a year after I started posting about it, in a more obscure video she did) and more 'esoteric' community figures were talking about the anonymity set size of privacy coins.
Everyone used to argue that "Monero is the king of privacy because it uses encryption!" also, "PIVX is better than Dash because it uses encryption." When in fact, Dash had a much larger anonymity set than all of those coins for a long time (PIVX until recently and then it flipped again with Dash in the lead).
This means that Coinjoin is obviously the best all-around privacy solution if you want an auditable supply with strong privacy, and Dash's PrivateSend builds on that to rise to be better than any other offering on a non-Masternode chain.
Dash has 16 rounds of mixing with an anon set size in the tens of thousands to millions (it grows as more people use it) compared to Monero with an anonymity set size of only 11, and BCH of 5. Monero's anon set used to be only 3. Then it was 5, then 7. Now they recently bumped it to 11, but it was always really low when it had the most usage on darknets. See this thread I wrote on comparing privacy coins by their anonymity sets for a better breakdown.

I just burned 1 ETH on purpose! For my next trick, I've committed to losing another 15 ETH, to demonstrate how burn-capable smart contracts can incentivize arbitrary service requests to be filled by reliable strangers.

(This is actually from u/ethist. He asked me to post this, as his account is too young to post to ethereum. For updates on actions with the BOPs, see this comment)
EDIT: Two of the four BOPs have been filled, and two have been recovered. See this comment for details.
(Of the four Burnable Open Payments started, 1 has been completed with all ether released, 1 has been mostly completed, and 2 have had no action yet. See this comment for more detailed updates.)
Here is the burn transaction. As you can see, 1 ETH has been sent to the address 0xdead, which is an unspendable address.
Burning is proof of cost. Anyone can immediately see, without any social context, that the ether will never come back to me. What a silly thing for me to do! Except now, you know for sure that I'm willing to spend money, even though you have no idea who I am ;)
Burn-capable smart contracts can be very powerful tools. I'll demonstrate this by using something I call Burnable Open Payments. These very simple contracts begin with a set payer (me) but don't yet have a recipient. Anyone can become the recipient of a Burnable Open Payment by committing some of their own ether as collateral, as described in step 2 below.
Each of the three services I'm requesting below are accompanied by a Burnable Open Payment contract. These contracts contain a total of 15 ETH which I will provably never recover.
I don't need to know who will provide these services, because only honest, capable service providers should be incentivized to enter into the contracts as recipients.
Here's how a Burnable Open Payment works:
  1. The payer (me) instantiates the contract with some ether, and specifies a "commitThreshold". The payer can also set a "payerString" to identify or describe the service requested.
-At this point the payer will never get the ether back (unless he commits to be his own recipient before anyone else commits).
  2. Anyone who wants to become the recipient of this payment must commit ether, equal to or above the commitThreshold set by the payer. Once someone does so, the recipient is locked in and will never change. The recipient can also set a "recipientString" to log whatever he wants.
-The payment now contains ether from both the payer and the recipient.
  3. The payer now has two actions available: burn ether or release ether to the recipient (in parts or all at once).
-The payer (or anyone!) can put more money into the payment at any time.
By putting ether into the contract, I've trustlessly proven I'm committed to spending it. It can only ever be released to a recipient or burned.
By requiring a commitment of ether, the only people likely to become recipients, are those that are confident they can convince me to release the payment rather than burn it--presumably by providing the service.
If no one commits, I have the option of adding ether to the payment, increasing my chances of having the service filled.
The payerString and recipientString give both participants a way of making statements to whoever might be watching the contract.
So let's get to it then:
Here's the ABI needed to interact with the BOPs. I've been using myetherwallet's 'contract' tab to interact with the contracts.

CAUTION: To become the committed recipient, you MUST call the "commit" function of the BOP explicitly! Simply sending ether will not trigger the recipient setter, and will only contribute ether to the payment!

For 2-4 ETH (commit of 1 ETH) I request something silly and arbitrary:

Spraypaint something like a Bitcoin Wizard, but with an Ethereum symbol instead of a Bitcoin one, on a wall somewhere. It must be at least as tall as a real human. Don't write "ethereum" or anything else so descriptive on it.
Write "commissioned by ethist" somewhere around it, small-ish. Feel free to also include an artist signature.
It doesn't have to be illegal graffiti, but I'm not about to sit here and pretend breaking the law isn't super cool~
When the deed has been done, take some pictures (one good shot of the artwork, and another picture or two to show how visible it is) and tell me where it is (street, city, country). You may do this publicly or via PM.
BurnableOpenPayment contract
This payment contains 4 ETH. I'll release 2 ETH for an okay piece of art, 3 ETH if it's somewhere that will be seen by a lot of people and won't get taken down too quickly, and the full 4 ETH if it has good visibility AND the artwork is quite good.
I'll burn the payment if the service isn't rendered, with pictures provided, within four days of commitment.

For 4-6 ETH (commit of 1 ETH) I request an android app that would be super useful to me:

The app must scan a QR code that contains an address and ABI for a smart contract. The user is then presented with the list of functions in the ABI, and upon choosing one, can fill out the appropriate arguments and hit an 'execute' button. The command should be sent to and executed by the smart contract. The gas limit of the command can be hard-coded to 4,000,000 ensure most commands don't run out of gas.
The app will need to be able to hold or control ether to affect smart contracts. It doesn't have to be an actual node on the network. It could use something like MEW or some other centralized API. Whatever system chosen, the app should have deposit and withdraw capabilities, and be able to switch between different Ethereum keypair identities with different balances.
The app doesn't need to be pretty, and if it's confusing to a new user that's not a deal breaker. It should be quick and easy to use once a user has learned its interface. It should also have very clean code. Think "reliable prototype".
BurnableOpenPayment contract
This payment contains 6 ETH. I'll release 4 ETH for a sufficient app, and 1 of the remaining 2 ETH for any of the following: slick interface; very clean code/design amenable to modification; an extra feature that I hadn't thought of but adds to the value of the app; or anything else that tickles my fancy.
I'll burn the payment if I see no consistent progress. If the app is delivered but buggy, I'll burn parts of the payment based on the seriousness of the bugs. Same idea if the app is delivered incomplete.
Once committed, comment or send me a PM with any questions you have, but consider this the extent of my requirements.

For 4-5 ETH (commit of 1 ETH) I request an infographic on the use and purpose of a Burnable Open Payment:

Three main concepts should be illustrated with the infographic:
These concepts could be explained separately, or interwoven throughout the inforgraphic, up to you.
Burnable Open Payment contract
This payment contains 5 ETH. I'll release 4 ETH if the infographic is reasonably pretty and can be easily understood by an eth-head who's actively involved in the industry. I'll release the full 5 ETH if it can also be grokked by someone who only has a surface-level understanding of smart contracts. The non-crypto layman is not part of the intended audience, so don't worry about bringing it down to that level.
I'll burn the payment if there's no consistent progress, or if it's not completed two weeks after commitment.
For each of these services, my burning/releasing policies aren't written in stone, but I expect them not to change much. I might also throw more ether into any of these payments if they aren't filled right away.
I will only burn the ether committed by the recipient if there is no attempt to complete the request, or if the recipient turns out to be quite incapable of delivering.
See this comment for my (u/ethist's) updates on the state of the BOPs.
If anyone wants to mess around with burnable smart payments, a factory contract and source/ABI can be found here. Please contact me if you want to be involved in my next stunt.

The Last President, The High Priest of Fraud and The Little Horn Trump

The story begins with a scene from a panicked New York City in early November, describing a "state of uproar" after the election of an enormously opposed outsider candidate."The entire East Side is in a state of uproar," police officers shouted through the streets, warning city folk to stay indoors for the night. "Mobs of vast size are organizing under the lead of anarchists and socialists, and threaten to plunder and despoil the houses of the rich who have wronged and oppressed them for so many years.""The Fifth Avenue Hotel will be the first to feel the fury of the mob," the novel continues, citing an address in New York City where Trump Tower now stands. "Would the troops be in time to save it?The Last President doesn’t follow the same fictional narrative of Lockwood’s previous novels, though the links to Trump are once again abundantly clear.
The outsider, Hoby, is the only one to call
Trump out on his lies.

In Britain, a baron is called “Lord,” but in the States, we call them “rich.”Barons are members of the aristocracy — wealthy people born into power and influence.

So the problem they are trying to figure out here is where do they store this information on a person? A card can be easily lost or stolen and a phone can be hacked. Well take a look at what this Israeli company has been doing.

There was a total lunar eclipse (blood moon) that day and apparently, around the exact same time of his birth, 10:54am over Israel.
https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/luna1946-june-14
http://wwwcdn.printmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Trump-Birth-Certificate-original1.jpg
